Process: The entire process for this piece spanned over five hours. The goal was to capture the essence of my subject with the fewest amount of brush strokes possible. I went through about forty other renditions of this concept. With each rendition, I removed unnecessary curves and streamlined every part of the composition. This piece is the product of a long desconstruction process.
