Production

Our client, Hey Cupcake!, gave us a lot of creative freedom over the game's design. They were really easy to work with. I met with them during a few conferences to ask questions, uncovering constraints and clarifying requirements.

Construction

Construction went really smoothly. I worked closely with an art director, following instructions on necessary design changes and providing feedback on feasible options. For the most part, we stuck to the initial plan. I set up the project to be easily modified, as specs would change on occasion.

Artwork, Sound

I helped organize and tidy up graphics, tweaking them for efficiency. I added a few graphical nuances like the background color-change that occurs when turns are switched and the flashing effect that appears over buttons when moves are missed. I edited the music and sound effects-- cropping, normalizing, and adjusting levels to make them work well together.
